Real Sociedad to beat Lyon
Sociedad won the first leg 2-0 and although there is always the concern they will take their foot off the gas, this early in the season they will surely play a full strength side and kill the game off. Lyon suffered another defeat at the weekend at the hands of Remis.
Celtic to beat Shakhter Karaganda
Celtic suffered a drastic 2-0 defeat in the first leg but the Celtic Park crowd will see them get a win here, whether it will be enough to see them progress is a different matter. As long as they get the win, it will do for our accumulator.
Nottm Forest to beat Millwall
Forest have started the season in fantastic fashion and carried that on with a 1-1 draw against Watford on Sunday. Millwall look set to struggle this campaign and have only managed one draw in four Championship matches.
Watford to beat Bournemouth
Promotion is Watford’s priority this season but Bournemouth have priorities of their own, to stay in the division. They were demolished 5-1 at Huddersfield and have already been beaten 6-1 by Watford. Watford should produce a re-run of that fixture and win again here.
Everton to beat Stevenage
The Premier League side could only manage two draws from their opening two Premier League fixtures but should have more than enough to see off League One Stevenage. The visitors had lost their opening three League One fixtures before a 1-0 win at the weekend.
