Bayer Leverkusen to beat Real Sociedad
Bayern Leverkusen went down 4-2 at Manchester United on match day one but their impressive display and strong start to the season means they should have enough to beat Sociedad. The Spainish side were beaten 2-0 at home against Shakhtar and haven’t won on the road this season. Leverkusen have won six of their seven Bundesliga matches this season including all four home matches, scoring 12 goals.
Juventus to beat Galatasaray
Juventus were held to a surprise 1-1 draw in their opening match and will need to win here to keep on track to win the group. They won three home matches to nil in last year’s competition before losing to Bayern Munich and so far they have won their opening three Italian home matches. Galatasaray were hammered 6-1 by Real Madrid and have started the season really poorly. They sit down in 10th in the Turkish league and look in no shape to upset Juventus here.
Manchester City v Bayern Munich Draw
The reigning Champions League champions Bayern Munich have started where they left off last season, winning almost every week but they could come unstuck against Man City. City put in a faultless display against Manchester United recently and started their Champions League campaign with a convincing win against Plzen. Bayern were held by Chelsea in the Super Cup and might have to settle for a point in Manchester tonight. City drew all three Champions League home matches last season including against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
