League Two Betting Tips: The Best Three Bets This Season By Jack Critchley

Ante-Post Football Betting Tips League Two Predictions for This Season | Football Tips: "Last year in League Two we said farewell to Aldershot and Barnet, despite the best efforts of an enigmatic Dutchman but what will bet the best bets for the new season?"

Bradford’s success brought a little more exposure to the division and the spotlight may continue to shine with many fans and pundits checking on the progress of Portsmouth.
I thought Keith Hill was unlucky to lose his job at Barnsley last season, he had a very limited budget and his ‘Man in a pub’ quality meant you were always privy to an honest assessment of the game. Now he’s back where he made his name – Rochdale.

After a succession of poor managerial appointments, Dale reappointed the 44 year old to the post and the turnaround soon followed. They surely must be a decent bet for a Top 7 Finish.

They remained unbeaten at home since late February and impressive victories away at Exeter and Fleetwood in April won over the fans and saw them climb the table.

Matt Done has re-joined from Hills former club whilst Olly Lancashire and Ashley Eastham will be asked to add some much needed steel to the defence. Add to this, a crop of promising youngsters such as Joe Bunney and Scott Tanser and the Lancashire side should quietly climb up the division.

York’s first season back in the Football League appeared to be coming to a premature end, but manager Nigel Worthington steered them clear of trouble and they look a decent bet for a Top Half Finish.

Worthington is an astute boss and he may have been a little rusty when making the transition from International management, but he should significantly improve their finishing position this time around.

Matty Blair may have headed across the Pennines, but Ryan Jarvis and Craig Clay are two signings who might not set the world alight, but certainly know this division.

Ryan Bowman, Wes Fletcher and the unknown quantity of Estonian winger Sander Puri have also arrived at Bootham Crescent and if midfielder Michael Coulson can chip in with a few goals from midfield they should be capable of pushing up the table.

Financial woe continues to haunt the South West clubs in League Two and finally Plymouth look to have a fresh start. They look a decent bet to emerge as Top South West Team.

Their neighbours Exeter haven’t been able to secure the services of key players such as Jamie Cureton and Matt Oakley due to financial restrictions, whilst the Pilgrims are hardly cash rich, they certainly have the kind of stability they have craved for a number of seasons.

Marvin Morgan can be impressive and frustrating in equal measure and fans will be hoping it is the former as the ex-Shrewsbury man can be unplayable on his day.

He should combine with the sprightly Ruben Reid, on loan from Yeovil and the former Morecambe man Lewis Allessandra to create a potentially potent forward line.

Manager John Sheridan used the loan market to good effect last season and will be likely to do the same once more. He’ll be hoping Crystal Palace lend him Jason Banton, who had an impressive spell in the West Country last season.

A decent crop of youngsters and an experienced manager will see Plymouth steer well clear of trouble and probably Exeter too.

League Two Ante-Post Betting Tips

Rochdale to finish in the top 7 - 9/4

York to finish in the top half - 2/1

Plymouth to be the top South West team - 11/8

Premier League Winner/Top Goalscorer Double Tips for This Season By Stan Mulgrew

Today's Football Betting Tips for the Premier League Winner Next Season: "As always, this is a very tough market to predict, as the Premier League year on year always throws us a surprise player, or two, who consistently bangs in the goals."

Last year they were Christian Benteke and Michu from Aston Villa and Swansea respectively. We know for sure that Robin Van Persie is guaranteed goals year on year, with the teammates he has and obviously his own incredible ability to put the ball in the net, so he is in obvious option in this market.

I believe that as usual Robin Van Persie will score 20+ this season and with the possibility of a new world class midfielder in behind him it could almost be too easy for him this year. But, although I think RVP will score bags of goals, I don’t think David Moyes will win the Premier league in his first season at the Red Devils. I think that Jose Mourinho will be the manager that wins the league this season, in his first back at Chelsea. So taking all this into account, I think at 12/1 of Robin Van Persie top Goalscorer and Chelsea to win the league are great odds.

This I believe would be a safe bet, so I’m going to throw in a long shot with high odds for good measure, but also a possibility that it could happen. Daniel Sturridge joined Liverpool in January and in only 14 appearances with Liverpool he scored 10 goals which is a brilliant start to his career with the Reds. He has shown with Bolton, Chelsea and more recently Liverpool that he can scores goals in the Premier League. Don’t worry I’m not stupid enough to think Liverpool can actually win the Premier League, but I do think Daniel Sturridge will be up there for the Golden Boot come the end of the 2013/2014 season.

So like in the first bet I think Chelsea will win the Premier League and doubling that up with Daniel Sturridge to be the Top Goalscorer, we can get massive odds of 66/1. Obviously if you disagree with me on the Premier League champions you can change that and still get similar odds with the same player.

Premeir League Winner / Top Goalscorer Betting Tips

Chelsea / Robin Van Persie at 12/1

Chelsea / Daniel Sturridge at 66/1

Premier League Relegation Betting Tips and Predictions for Next Season By Lee Dooley

Premier League Relegation Betting Tips and Predictions for Next Season: "It's time to look at the relegation battle again this week and it's a market that shows real value, Premier League relegation treble betting."

For obvious reasons the three newly promoted teams, Hull City, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace, top the betting odds at 11/1, but for me this isn't the bet to take on. If you refer to my previous post here you can read my thoughts on survival for the newly promoted trio.

That post see's Hull City as my tip to go down, which leaves just two more relegation threatened teams to put into the treble. The team with the most to worry about for the the 2013-14 season is Stoke City.

Mark Hughes has been drafted in to steady the ship and has already started by clearing a boatload of squad members, including Rory Delap, Carlo Nash, Jermaine Pennant, Matthew Upson and Dean Whitehead.

By releasing these fringe players he has no doubt freed up a lot of the wage budget. But transforming a whole squad in a few months isn't something Mark Hughes does well. Just ask QPR fans.

There's no doubt Hughes will aim to improve the Stoke City strike force, but remodeling will have to have an instant impact, as fans already seem to be unhappy with the appointment of Hughes, and that unhappiness could soon turn hostile should the result go against the Potters.

Stoke City go down for me and go down easy. They are my tip to finish rock bottom come May and that's 12/1.

Aston Villa now, and they will almost certainly have another tough season ahead of them. But the biggest worry for me is who they can keep hold of in the transfer window. It's clear now that Benteke will almost certainly leave Villa Park before the start of the 2013-14 season, and without his goals Villa will struggle. Of course, it all depends on who they can replace Benteke with, and for me The Villans will find it difficult to entice someone to Villa Park with the calibre to produce 23+ goals.

Looking at Aston Villa's pre-season signings and I'm struggling to find a reason why they're priced so high to be relegated. 8/1 for the drop is interesting enough to take on alone.

So, my treble for relegation includes, new boys Hull City and established Premier League sides Aston Villa and Stoke City and that is priced at an inviting 80/1.

Premier League Relegation Treble

Hull City, Aston Villa and Stoke City to be relegated - 80/1

Hungary vs Estonia betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers By Sunshine

Hungary vs Estonia betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers: "Even with a clear defeat against Romania on the road last Friday with a 3:0 result. Hungary is still in a hunt for the second position that would give them the play-off ticket, but now in a bit tougher situation as they have to overcome two points difference from second placed Romania with both teams having three matches till the end."

Hungarians must be disappointing with the previous match they lost as they never looked very competitive in the game and never actually went into the game, while the home side scored two goals in first thirty minutes, while they added one more near the end of the match. Things are now much more difficult for them, as they have to wait for some setback from Romanians, while their next match will be visiting Holland, which is by far the strongest team in the group. Still, it was only their second defeat, as the team tries to continue playing as offensive as possible. Hungarian national coach Sandor Egervari has no new problems making the squad and should field up his best in a try to get easy three pointers.Estonia is coming into this game after taking a huge breath of success last Friday drawing at home against much more superior Holland with a 2:2 result in Tallin. They showed many positive signs during the match, as they showed very offensive face, while the visitors were saved from defeat with a goal in last minutes of the game.
Despite their qualification hopes are over long time ago, Estonia played really well and despite being back in the scoreline already in second minute with a goal from Robben, they fought well and never gave up, getting a 2:1 lead in 57th minute as both goals were scored by Vassiljev. However, Dutch side still managed to get a point scoring a goal from the penalty spot by van Persie in fourth minute of added time. Still, it must be said that the Dutch side was better during the game and it wouldn’t be unfair if the game ended as their victory. Being six points away from Romania, they can’t hope for much better run till the end of the qualifying road and will probably use the rest of the match to filter out their squad for next qualifications. Important central defender Priroja is suspended following his red card in last minutes of previous match.
Estonia has three consecutive draws, not losing in last four official matches.
Hungarians will look to win in the easiest possible way, hoping to hear the good news from the derby match between Romania and Turkey. Estonia did nice in previous match, but they are still nothing special away from home and now missing one of the most important defenders, they shouldn’t trouble their hosts a lot.
Bet: Hungary -1.25 Asian handicap

Uruguay vs Colombia betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers By Neuro

Uruguay vs Colombia betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers: "Uruguay is regarded as surely top ten selections Worldwide, but they started quite ugly this qualifications and will need to strive till the last moment for their position. They are currently fifth at the table, with three points more than sixth placed Venezuela, but the team will still try to get the direct ticket to World Cup and end up as four top nations at the table."

They are coming from a 2:1 victory on the road against Peru on Friday night, as their best striker Luis Suarez was star of the night with two goals scored (first one from the penalty spot), while the hosts only managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Farfan six minutes before the full time whistle. However it must be said that Uruguay had much easier job as the Peruvians stood with a man less since exclusion of Yotun Flores in 45th minute of the match. Their goal is nothing but the victory in tonight’s game, as they will also try to make a revenge from the first leg 4:0 defeat in Colombia. One of their most important offensive powers, Forland left the pitch on Friday with an injury and will not be available either, while exactly the same goes for Caceres. Central defenders Lugano and Godin will be unavailable too, while red carded Yotun Flores is also unavailable. Their defense will not be as tight as usual and the coach Tabarez is expected to set the formation with three attackers due reason above.Colombia, on the other hand, is coming into this game after a 1:0 victory over Ecuador last Friday. It was a fully deserved victory for the Colombians who took the lead in 31st minute with a goal from Rodriguez, while the visitors played with a man less since 29th minute. Even so, they had a chance to equalize as Ayowi missed the penalty kick in second halftime.
Still, that missed penalty was one of rare chances for the visitors, as Colombians had much more of the ball possession and waster several really good chances. The team is in a great atmosphere as they made decisive step towards the qualifications, getting the third consecutive victory, but also showing that their defense is really stable as they didn’t concede in last four matches. They are coming into this game without particular problems, although left winger Armero will not be able to play because of his yellow cards suspension earned on Friday night. Central defender Zapata is questionable for tonight’s game, but the team has rich enough roster to overcome these two absentees.
Colombia has three victories in a row, without conceding in last four matches.
Uruguay has seen over 2.5 goals in last seven official matches.
Derby game should be very open and interesting game to watch. Home side will have to attack in order to avoid playing additional play-off match, while the visitors also have huge quality in the attack. Although their defenses look stable, their strikers are too good to ignore and both sides should score at least once during the game.
Bet: Both teams to score

Kazakhstan vs Sweden betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers Sunshine

Kazakhstan vs Sweden betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers: "Kazakhstan didn’t have much chances to get any higher position at the table from the start of the qualifications, but still they are trying to be as competitive as possible, especially at the home ground. They are coming from a 2:1 victory at home last Friday over Faroe Islands, as the team showed great fighting spirit and didn’t give up although they were back in the scoreline at the halftime."

Disregarding that, they entered the second halftime even more determined to get the victory and quickly turned the scoreline to their favor as the hosts equalized five minutes into the second half with a penalty scored by Zumaskaljev, while Finonchenko scored the winning goal fourteen minutes later. All in all, it was a fully deserved victory for them, as they showed much more on the field and missing couple of more chances to enlarge the lead. Out of seven matches they have four points, this victory and a draw at home against Austria. No doubt the team is well over their hopes for this qualifying stage, while the coach should use the next matches to filter out his squad for next qualifications. Home side has no injury or suspension worries.Sweden, on the other side, is coming from more than precious victory on the road against Ireland as they won 1:2 last Friday night and made a huge step towards securing the second position. Germany is alone at the first position with five points more than them, while Austria and Ireland are sharing the third position with three points less.
Such a situation means that the Swedish side can’t afford any setback and has to take all three remaining matches more than seriously as they are keeping the destiny in their hands. Game against Ireland was everything but easy, as the hosts took the lead in 21st minute with a goal from Keane, while the visitors replied with a goal from Elmander twelve minutes later. Svensson brought them to a 2:1 lead at the beginning of the second half, while it must be said that the game was very tight, where the draw might have been much more fair result. However, it’s a gift that they have to take now, as the team visits one of the weakest sides in the group and everything expect their victory would be a catastrophe. Visitors should have much changes in their squad, while their important central defender Andreas Granqvist is back after serving a suspension.
Sweden has three victories in a row, all three with two goals scored.
There is a huge quality difference between these two sides and Sweden should take an easy victory here. After a morale boosting victory against Ireland they can’t afford to gamble here and should take the game very seriously.
Bet: Sweden -1.5 Asian handicap

Slovakia vs Bosnia betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers By Sunshine

Slovakia vs Bosnia betting tips 10 September WC 2014 Qualifiers: "Slovakia is coming into this game from a 1:0 narrow victory away from home in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the only outcome that saved their chances of reaching one of first two positions in the qualifying group. They are now on third position, having earned twelve points out of seven matches, while Bosnia and Greece has four points more."

They gave a really great game last Friday, as their newly installed coach obviously did a great job analyzing opponents game. It must be said that the players of Bosnia had more of the ball possession, while the visitors mostly used counter-attacks to score a goal, which they succeeded very late in the game with a goal from Pecovsky, while their defenders stood very well for the whole game. Since they are now back into the fight for the top two positions, Slovakia will have to change their tactics, as they are the one who are searching for the three pointer. However, no doubt that the coach is satisfied with their performance last Friday and probably will not make any changes in the starting lineup. As said, Bosnia & Herzegovina lost last Friday at home to Slovakia 0:1 in a game they looked pretty different to what we used them to look like. With this defeat they complicated their situation a lot as they were top candidates to get the direct ticket to World Cup, but now will have to stay undefeated to keep the chances of getting the first two positions.
Still, thanks to better mutual matches against Greece, they are still first at the table and have the chances to finish there, however now with no right to make any mistake. They had many problems in creative part of the midfield, being unable to come to dangerous situation in front of the opponents goal in their last match, unlike many other games they played and scored with ease. Just as in previous game, they should be trying to get the victory, although they would probably settle for a draw too in case the things go wrong once again. However, guests should be improved with returning of midfielder Rahimic, while central defender Mujdza is also recovered from injury and should start the match.
Slovakia has seen under 2.5 goals in their last five official matches.
Bosnia has scored at least three goals in four out of last five matches.
This should be completely different match comparing to the one held just few days ago. Home side now has to attack and we can expect much more offensive style from both sides.
Bet: Over 2.25 goals
